There were plenty laughs shared after Lil Wayne’s infamous deposition but it looks like Quincy Jones III’s attorney got the last laugh in Lil Wayne’s three-year case. Judges have closed Lil Wayne’s case and instead ordered the YMCMB leader to pay $2,195,000 for damages and breached contract. Lil Wayne opened this case against Quincy, who was directing and filming his documentary, back in 2009. Lil Wayne complained of not approving the documentary after filming and unlawful use of his music. Quincy counteracted with a lawsuit in 2011 and it looks like the judges are now in his favor. Because of Lil Wayne’s recent ill conditions, the rapper was unable to appear in court to testify, leaving the judge and jury with his most recent deposition where Lil Wayne threatened the attorney saying “they can’t save you in real life”. Lil Wayne’s quotes became trending topics on twitter but this heavy hit of 2 million dollars might take precedence. I guess the good thing of having a team is everyone pitching in? Drake? Nicki? Bird? Someone to the rescue?
